Keto smoothies are perfect for those of us with busy lifestyles!
This smoothie contains maca powder which a powerful adaptogen that will help you adapt to – and avoid – damage from environmental factors, like stress, diet, and toxins. It’s high in phytochemicals, it will boost your energy levels, strengthen your immune system, and increase stamina and libido.
Ingredients:
(Makes 1 serving)
3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk (180 ml/ 6 fl oz)
1/4 cup coconut milk like Kara (60 ml/ 2 fl oz)
1 heaping tbsp unsweetened almond butter, ideally roasted or
Almond & Cashew Butter (32 g/ 1.1 oz)
1 tbsp MCT oil or Brain Octane Oil or extra virgin coconut oil (15 ml)
1 tbsp collagen powder (7 g/ 0.2 oz)
2 tsp maca powder
Optional: pinch of cinnamon and 3-5 drops of stevia.
✨If you are new to maca: start with 1 teaspoon of maca powder to avoid potential digestive issues. You can gradually add more as you get used to it.
INSTRUCTIONS
Mix all the ingredients: almond butter, collagen, maca powder, MCT oil, almond milk, coconut milk, and blend until smooth either in a regular blender or using an immersion blender. Enjoy! 😋
